These upcoming colorways are based on an early prototype of the Air Jordan 1 that was sans the wings logo. After making their first retail appearance last year, three new colorways will make appearances in the early months of 2017. Like the previous version, this will not feature the wings logo, but rather “AIR JORDAN” spelled out in its location. However, these will also have a “Nike Air” logo on the heel, something not found on the original sample or the 2015 version.
The planned colorways feature a royal blue, black and white; another that is similar to the “Chicago” colorway and a third that is white,black and grey.
