Early on the morning of December 29, surveillance footage from the store showed the masked trio breaking into the store and then escaping in a black Nissan Altima, sans a license plate.

“I didn’t expect anything like this to happen, so I was kinda under prepared for something like this to happen. I’m definitely going to have enhanced security,” Trumann said.

Though the robbery is a devastating situation, Trumann is resolute on soldiering on, saying, “I plan to build this back brick by brick.”

The ongoing investigation has, as yet, produced no arrests. Individuals with pertinent information are employed to call the Champaign County Police Department at 217-351-4545.
