Tennessee State game at Hampton cancelled due to Hurricane Florence

The Tennessee State/Hampton game that was scheduled for September 15 can now be added to the list of sporting events that are postponed or outright canceled because of Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast. This is the second consecutive week the Tigers have had a game canceled due to inclement weather; the Southern Heritage Classic against Jackson State last week was canceled due to lightning. North Carolina A&T defeats Jacksonville State University 20-17 in FCS Kickoff game

Although it was pretty at times, North Carolina A&T managed to hang on to defeat Jacksonville State, 20-17 in the Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff. Aggies’ quarterback Lamar Raynard did not look like himself and struggled, completing only 12 of his 34 passes for 111 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
