FSU’s Francois transfers to Hampton

Former FSU quarterback Deondre Francois has enrolled at HBCU Hampton University. It was thought he would end up at Florida Atlantic University but it didn’t happen. News of the enrollment was first reported by Dave Johnson of The Daily Press. Francois was a two-year starter at Florida State; in February was he was dismissed from the program after a woman posted an Instagram video alleging the quarterback abused her. Tennessee State game at Hampton cancelled due to Hurricane Florence

The Tennessee State/Hampton game that was scheduled for September 15 can now be added to the list of sporting events that are postponed or outright canceled because of Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast. This is the second consecutive week the Tigers have had a game canceled due to inclement weather; the Southern Heritage Classic against Jackson State last week was canceled due to lightning. Like that contest, this game will not be rescheduled.
