Grambling prepares to take on Jackson State

Robinson Memorial Stadium to face a longtime Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) rival, Jackson State, in a non-conference battle. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+. Saturday’s game will be the 70th meeting between GSU and JSU. Crawley threw for 2,303 yards with a 16 touchdowns last season. He was the first Grambling State quarterback to throw for at least 2,000 yards since Devante Kincaid in 2017. Grambling football headed to The Horseshoe in 2025

Monday Grambling football announced that they would take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2025.  The Tigers are headed to The Horseshoe to replace UCONN, who Ohio State is no longer set to face, on Saturday, September 6.  The Buckeyes were scheduled to face the Huskies on September 18, but according to the OSU athletic department, the decision to cancel the game and alter their schedules was a mutual one between Ohio State and UCONN. Saturday Grambling was taken to the woodshed 72-10 by LSU, however the outcome was not the most concerining aspect of the evening for the Tigers. Gramblng State linebacker Jaquavis Richmond suffered a frightening injury halfway through the third quarter while making a tackle on LSU wideout Gregory Clayton on a punt return. It appeared that Richmond collided with teammate Chrisitian Williams as they came together to stop Clayton.
