Alabama State lands forward Isaiah Barganier in the transfer portal

Redshirt junior forward Isaiah Barganier has officially committed to Alabama State Hornets men’s basketball, giving the program a physical frontcourt addition out of the transfer portal. Here’s the quick breakdown: He was a decorated player coming out of Fulshear High School ( Fulshear,Texas) where he became only the second player in program history to tally over 1,000 points. Scott, announced a two-year contract extension for head football coach Mickey Joseph.  Joseph, who was named head coach in 2024, signed a two-year extension that runs through the 2027 season. Tennessee State to face FAMU in Tallahassee in 2026

Jackson State will not be the only long-time rival to return to Tennessee State’s schedule in 2026. Florida A&M unveiled its 2026 schedule and the Tigers and Rattlers will be getting it on. Former Alabama A&M offensive lineman TyQuez Richardson has committed to Georgia. The Atlanta native started in all 12 games for the Bulldogs in 2025.  Coming out of Mays High School, the 6-5 330-pound Richardson chose Alabama A&M over Colorado, which had made an offer for his services. Richardson returns to his home state, the Bulldogs as part of the 53rd-ranked transfer class in the nation, according to On3’s 2026 College Football Team Transfer Portal Rankings.
