Richardson has been named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. Richardson tied his career-best with 10 tackles on Saturday against South Carolina State, including four solo tackles. He also recorded a tackle for loss. The recognition marked the Norfolk State freshman’s second MEAC Weekly Award this season, and first Rookie of the Week honor.
