Tennessee State’s Jaylen Jones tabbed OVC Freshman of the Week for a fourth time

For the fourth time on the season, Tennessee State guard Jaylen Jones was named OVC Freshmen of the Week. Coming off the pine against the Lions of Lindenwood, Jones contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds in just 17 minutes in the Tigers’ 75-60 victory. On the season, the Nashville native has appeared in 17 games, starting 8, averaging 10.8 points and 4.4 assists on .428/.357/.673 splits. He has cracked double figures 13 of those games, while his 46 assists and 19 steals rank first and second on the team, respectively.
