Last week, former Memphis Grizzlies standout Tony Allen and William Hatton were arrested in Arkansas on drug charges.  In speaking to officers on body cam recorded footage, Allen denied owning the drugs or any of the associated paraphernalia that was also discovered in a subsequent search of the vehicle. However, despite these denials, Alan along with Hatton was taken to jail and booked. Former Grizzlies and Celtics standout Tony Allen and another man arrested on drugs

Former NBA player Tony Allen was arrested Wednesday in Arkansas on drug charges.  Allen was the passenger in a vehicle driven by William Hatton when a traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle by Poinsett County (Arkansas) Sheriff’s Deputies.  According to the police report “During the contact, a deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, leading him to direct both individuals to exit the car.”  Allen was subsequently searched and found to be in possession of marijuana; the search also uncovered various drug related accoutrements,…
