A recent raid by the Los Angeles Police Department recovered a massive stockpile of ill-gotten footwear. The June 21 raid on a warehouse recovered $7 million in stolen sneakers. Commerical crime detectives fromt he LAPD received a report that several cargo containers were stolen from trucks near the Port of Los Angeles. After investigators tracked the pilfered kicks to nearby Torrence , they were able to obtain a search warrant for the warehouse Wednesday evening.
