BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced its 2025 SWAC Volleyball Tournament seedings following the conclusion of regular season play.
Prairie View A&M (15-1 SWAC) enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed after claiming the SWAC Volleyball Regular Season title.
Jackson State claimed the No. 2 seed (12-4 SWAC), while Alabama State claimed the No. 3 seed (12-4 SWAC) followed by No. 4 seed Bethune-Cookman (11-5 SWAC).
Alabama A&M (9-7 SWAC) enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed.
Texas Southern claimed the No. 6 seed (9-7 SWAC), while Southern claimed the No. 7 seed (9-7 SWAC) followed by No. 8 seed Florida A&M (9-7 SWAC).
In the event of a tie in conference records the leagueโs tiebreaker policy was used to determine final seedings.
The tournament will be played in a single-elimination format with action set to start at 11:00 a.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 21st with matches slated to run through Sunday, Nov. 23rd at the Al Lawson Center located on the campus of Florida A&M University.
Quarterfinals, semifinals and finals matches will be available live on SWAC TV.

Match 1 โ No. 1 Prairie View A&M vs. No. 8 Florida A&M- 11:00 am
Match 2 โ No. 4 Bethune-Cookman vs. No. 5 Alabama A&M- 1:30 pm
Match 3 โ No. 2 Jackson State vs. No. 7 Southern- 4:00 pm
Match 4 โ No. 3 Alabama State vs. No. 6 Texas Southern- 6:30 pm
Saturday, November 22
Match 5 โ Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2 – 2:00 pm
Match 6 โ Winner Match 3 vs. Winner Match 4 – 4:30 pm
Sunday, November 23
Match 7 โ Championship- 2:30 pm
