Wednesday the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference unveiled their Trackletes of the Week. Maryland Eastern Shore grad student Faithlyn Irving was named Field Athlete of the Week and Howard junior Yahnari Lyons claimed Track Athlete of the Year.

At the Boston University Terrier Classic, Irving claimed her third triple jump win of the season with a mark of 12.97m. The distance was the second best jump of her career , indoor or outdoor, and breaks her own previously held school record of 12.95m. The jump also ranked 25th nationally.
Yahnari Lyons | Graduate Student | Howard
At the Bob Polluck Invitational, the graduate student finished fourth overall with a time of 23.43. The time is the best in the MEAC this season and ranks 24th in the nation.
