The Golden State Valkyries just made franchise history.
Golden State rallied from a 16-point deficit to defeat the Dallas Wings 77–73 in a dramatic winner-take-all Game 3, advancing to the WNBA semifinals.
And they didn’t just advance.
They became the first Valkyries team to win a playoff series.
WHAT A COMEBACK
Dallas appeared to have control late, leading 72–67 with just over three minutes remaining.
Then everything changed.
The Valkyries responded with the biggest stretch of the game, eventually taking the lead on a clutch jumper from Gabby Williams with 1:17 remaining.
Golden State closed the door from there.
Williams finished with 19 points, while Veronica Burton delivered an all-around performance with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
For Dallas, Arike Ogunbowale poured in 30 points, but the Wings couldn’t finish after holding the late advantage.
