Way back in July, we reported that the Air Jordan 14 would be part of this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. This partnership between Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospitals commenced in 2004 and has allowed some of the youngsters at the hospital to put their own spin on a selected group of silhouettes.
Images of the Air Jordan 14 from the upcoming collection have come to light. It features black overlays at the toe and wrapping the ankle underlaid by textured, iridescent purple. The white laces sport the name of the Doernbecher Hospital, while an “E” is found on the lateral branding area. This aforementioned upper sits atop a black midsole with a texture designed to look like beaded up water with the aesthetic completed by a purple midsole.
These are set to release December 7.
