This Air Jordan 5 is one two colorways that was birthed out of a collaborative relationship between Jordan Brand and streetwear brand Awake NY.
The black iteration sports a black leather upper with white stitching. Black netting can be seen on the sides, while the traditional clear netting present on the tongue. The co-branded tongues features Jumpman and Awake logos, with additional Awake branding seen via the “A” that adorns the sides and the “NY” that appears on the lower lateral heel on the right sneaker. Nike Air branding occupies its normal location on the rear heel with “23” showing up on the left shoe.
Below the aforesaid upper resides a black midsole accented with white speckled blue teeth as well as a co-branded translucent and black rubber outsole.
As it currently stands, this iteration of the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 is slated to debut on August 30.
