Who Got It Done
The play-in game was a competitive and hotly contested affair. The phrase “ they left it all out there” , like several others, is one that severely overused in sports but it truly applies Saturday afternoon. Though it looked like the Portland Trail Blazers were going to run the Memphis Grizzlies all the way out of the gym in the early going, we ended up being treated to the type of a game that featured a level of emotion and intensity that was devoid in a majority of the bubble games.
Portland now moves on to face the Los Angeles. As for the Grizzlies, this was a season that far surpassed initial expectations and they could have a bright future to build upon.
