Jordan Brand’s mid 1990’s “Dream It, Do It” campaign for an apparel collection serves as the driving force behind this coming Air Jordan 9 release. This vibrant Air Jordan 9 features black leather upper overlaid with teal, orange, and concord. Instead of the “AIR JORDAN” that normally emblazoned the front of AJ 9 tongues, this one has the “Dream It, Do It” slogan in it’s classic iteration. 2019 has become known as the Year of the 4, as it is the 30th anniversary of the release of the Air Jordan IV. Throughout the year there will be several releases of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe, in both original and new colorways. This women’s exclusive falls into the latter. The lineup of Rusell Westbrook’s second signature sneaker, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 expands with this special edition colorway. The Family colorway pays homage to Westbrook’s family and it comes in a black synthetic upper with gold detailing on the “RW” logo on the left shoe’s tongue and the Jumpman on the right, and the signature on the heel pull tab. The “Varsity Blue” Air Jordan 5 JSP that was part of the monikered “Laney Pack” was originally scheduled to release January 26, has now had that date altered. The new date is February 2, 2019. Jordan Brand has linked up with Charlotte, N.C.-based shop Social Status to birth this premium Air Jordan 6 in celebration of the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend coming to the Queen City.
