In honoring of Russell Westbrook’s extraordinary MVP season, Jordan Brand sent the newly crowned most valuable player an exclusive gift.  The pack consists of a pair of Air Jordan XXXI, and two pair of Air Jordan X’s, one pair orange and one pair blue. This latest training shoe from Jordan Brand was inspired by Michael Jordan’s notorious “breakfast club workouts.  The shoe features a Flyknit upper, which is the material’s debut on a Jordan performance model. This Air Jordan XXXI was created as a birthday gift for Minnesota Lynx star and Jordan Brand athlete Maya Moore and its derives it color from red velvet cake. The toe is burgundy and fades to white before meeting the burgundy leather that wraps around the heel, where a silver tinted Jumpman calls home. The burgundy swoosh on the shoe also follows the fading pattern on the upper.  Moore’s stylized “MM” logo is placed on the tongue. A white midsole sits atop a burgundy outsole completes this sneaker’s look.

Earlier today on his instagram, 2:30 P.M. EST to be precise,  DJ Khaled unveiled the fruit of his most recent collaboration with Jordan Brand. The “Grateful” Air Jordan 3 features a red leather upper with the iconic elephant print mudguard and rear heel wrap. “Alumni” Air Jordan 2 pays homage to UNC/UCLA Game

Back on June 28, 1987 the classic North Carolina versus UCLA Alumni game was played at Pauley Pavilion. Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Two GA juveniles indicted for Armed Robbery of classmate’s Air Jordans

Two youngsters are now facing the music for very adult crimes.  Joseph Weatherford, 16 and Dominic Singh, 17 were indicted recently by a Forsyth County (GA) Grand Jury on one count of armed robbery and several counts of drug possession. According to a bill of indictment on January 29 the two, “unlawfully [took] the shoes from the [victim] by use of a Vigilante Air Pistol, a device having the appearance of an offensive weapon.” The incident reports stated the victim knew Weatherford and Singh from school and they “showed up…

A Look at the Limited Edition Air Jordan I “Wings”

This limited edition Air Jordan I is the follow up to last year’s Air Jordan 12 Retro “Wings”.  The Air Jordan 1 Wings is built using premium leather and features boot-esque laces.
