At WNBA All-Star practice Angel Reese introduced the world to a new colorway of her debut signature sneaker, the Angel Reese 1 that capitalizes on what was meant to be a pejorative.  The “Mebounds” , which was a term coined in an attempt to knock Reese for her propensity to get rebounds off her own misses, sports a pink a light pink mesh foundational layer overlaid with bubble gum pink synthetic cage. First Look: “Fire Red” Air Jordan V Set to Heat Up 2026

The ”Fire Red” Air Jordan V is but one of a plethora of of original colorways that are making their return in 2025.  Initial images of the upcoming iteration of the classic colorway and they sport a white leather upper equipped with clear netting on the sides and tongue. This iteration of the popular Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo was made for Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Rob Dillingham.  They sport a lightweight mesh and synthetic fireberry upper adorned on the sides with metallic gold Swooshes. Damian Lillard agrees to contract with Trail Blazers

DameTine is coming home.  According to Shams Charania, the man who was the face of the Trail Blazers for nearly a decade has agreed on a 3-year, $42 million deal with Portland.  Lillard spent the last two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, following a blockbuster trade that sent Lillard to the Bucks, Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camera a 2029 first round pick and pick swap rights in 2029 and 2030 to the Trail Blazers, while Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson were sent to the Suns. …

Shannon Harris on the way to Tennessee State?

According to James Larson of Pro Football Newsroom, D.C. Defenders head coach Shannon Harris is now listed as the Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach at Tennessee State University.  A trip to the football coaches page on the Tennessee State athletics website does reveal that Harris is indeed listed as the Tigers’ Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach. The “Pine Green” Air Foamposite Pro, which debuted in 2011, is being primed for a 2025 return.  Initial images of the 2025 iteration have come to light and what is presented is a Foam Pro with a pine green Foamposite upper paired with black at the eye row, inner, collar and tongue. Tennessee State Finalizing Deal to Name Nolan Smith Head Men’s Basketball Coach

According to college basketball insider and CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Tennessee State is working on finalizing a deal with University of Memphis assistant coach Nolan Smith for its vacant men’s basketball position following the departure of Brian “Penny” Collins for a coaching job with the Memphis Grizzlies.
