According to the Portland Trail Blazers, the MRI on guard Damian Lillard’s right knee came back inconclusive. The injury occurred in the third quarter of the 135-115 smackdown the Lakers laid on the Blazers in game four of their opening round playoff series. Lillard left the game and did not return. All-world Los Angeles Lakers power forward Anthony Davis will take the court against the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night. According to the Los Angeles Times’ Andrew Greif, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said Davis would be in the starting lineup. Davis was poked in the eye in the team’s scrimmage against the Orlando Magic and sat out the team’s subsequent dress rehearsal against the Washington Wizards.

Anthony Davis left with 2:09 to go in the first quarter of the Lakers exhibition against the Orlando Magic when he was inadvertently hit across the face by the Magic’s Khmer Burch while battling for the rebound and did not return.
