After some speculation over whether this silhouette was in fact the Air Jordan XXXV, it unfortunately appears this is in fact the latest flagship Air Jordan game shoe. To further compound matters ,after making a mockery of the Air Jordan 3, Fragment is now getting a run at the the XXXV. However in the spirit of complete forthrightness, from a colour-blocking standpoint, they actually did a pretty good job.
As any sharp member of legal counsel at Adidas will point out, the XXXV looks a lot like the Reebok Shaqnosis. Even with that clear aesthetic link , it does follow the precedent set forth by the Air Jordan XXXI in that it sports visual elements that ties to an Air Jordan model from the past. As this is the XXXV it heartens back to the classic Air Jordan 5 and this can be seen with the shape of the tongue, collar and the style used netting on the lateral and medial sides.
This Fragment version makes use of a white, black and blue colour palette with Fragment branding on the heel tab, with a white black and blue midsole and outsole of the same colours completing this aesthetic.
Barring any litigation, the Fragment x Air Jordan XXXV is scheduled to make its retail debut October 28.
