Wednesday the NBA announced that the league issued San Antonio Spurs guard DeJonte Murray a $20,000 fine for throwing the game ball off a referee.
The incident occurred during the Spurs and Grizzlies game on February 28. The incident occurred with about two-and-a-hlaf minutes to go in the game after a call, which Murray didn’t like , he half-chucked the ball in direction of one official lower leg, which it made contact with. The ball made contact with said official for which Murray was subsequently t’d up and ejected.
