The arms race in the NBA has just had its ante upped. Despite winning three of the last four NBA championships, the Golden State Warriors continue to add top tier talent. According to Shams Charania, the Warriors and Demarcus Cousins have agreed to a
deal.

The deal is 1 year and worth $5.3 million.
Cousins will be coming off a torn Achilles he suffered in January. It was thought that he would re-sign with the Pelicans but perhaps how AD and Nikola Miritic played together combined with the signing of Julius Randle may have given him reason to look around the NBA for other opportunities. This will be a season for Cousins to showcase himself and that if he can return to his previous form ( he averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks per outing on 47% FG), or close to it, he will set himself up to make a lot of money next year in free agency.
It will be interesting to see how he will fit in with the Warriors.
