Tragedy has struck the family of New York Knicks guard Dennis Smith Jr. His stepmother passed away this past Sunday. Sources have indicated that Smith will not be at Monday’s game against the Chicago Bulls and will be away from the club for days.
Elfrid Payton and Frank Ntilikina to see more action in Smith’s absence, but considering Knicks head coach David Fizdale’s reticence to play Ntilikina, it will likely be a healthier portion of the former.
