It was one of the most anticipated games of the season in the Israeli Winner League and Maccabi Tel Aviv made the most of it getting the 101-80 win over Hapoel Jerusalem.
Scottie Wilbekin with 29 points led the charge, while Ante Zizic added 21 points for the winning side, which simply dominated the game.
Tamir Blatt scored 21 points for Hapoel, but he was not a real factor in the game as Maccabi got a solid 55-43 halftime lead and never looked back.
After this result, Maccabi had a 6-1 record, being the only team with only one defeat so far in the season, while Hapoel Eilat has a 8-2 record and the duo of Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Galil Gilboa is tied at 7-2.
