Nike’s Alpha Project of the late 1990’s and early 2000’s birthed some truly amazing silhouettes, particularly from a basketball sneaker standpoint.
These were worn by Kevin Garnett back in the 2000 Olympics , when he was still with the Swoosh and are finally due for a return.
Sporting its original white and blue look, the “GARNETT” that was on the lateral side is now home to the five dots of the Alpha Project. It also retains it zippered enclosure and Foamposite upper.
Although no official release date has been announced, there assuredly those that are eagerly anticipating this return to retail. Updates on this shoe will be provided as information avails itself.
