After two years, Kortne Goshastepped from his position as Deputy Athletic Director at Tulane University to, according to John Brice of footballscoop.com, accept a senior position in the Nebraska athletic program.

At Nebraska, Gosha will be reunited with Troy Dennen, who became the Huskers’ Director of Athletics in March. It was Dennen who hired Gosha at Tulane back in 2022 following his departure from Florida A&M.

At FAMU Gosha served as the Vice President and Director of Athletics. While on the Highest of Seven Hills, Gosha played an instrumental role in laying the foundation for the Rattlers’ transition from the MEAC to the SWAC. He also helped secure the deal that made FAMU the first LeBron James/Nike university.

Gosha’s arrival in Lincoln would mark a return to the Power 5 landscape; before his time at Florida A&M, he was the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations at the University of Miami for two seasons. There he oversaw day-to-day facility and event operations, grounds, custodial, information technology, access control, and capital projects.
