Grizzlies grant Dwight Howard permission to speak with other teams

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the Memphis Grizzlies have given Dwight Howard’s representation the ok to speak with other teams that might be interested in his services.

There is a team out west that just recently lost their likely starting center to a season-ending injury and has a gaping hole ( no pun intended) in the middle.

Howard played one season for the Lakers, the 2012-13 season and though it was painfully obvious that he had not recovered from the back surgery he had , he still managed to put together a season in which he averaged 17.1 points and a league-high 12.4 rebounds per game.
