Howard swimming was picked to repeat as Northeast Conference (NEC) champions in preseason polls.
The coaches polled unanimously selected the Bison to defend their crown. The Bison swim team cleared the second pace team, Wagner by just 7 points, securing the conference crown by an exciting victory in the 4x100m at the close out event at Spire Academy.
Wagner, last year’s runner up, was picked to finish second, while LIU and Le Moyne were selected to finish 3rd and 4th, respectively.
The NEC Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled to take place February 17-20 at Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio
