According to online booking records, Marcus Morris Sr was arrested in Broward County, Florida on Sunday. TMZ reports the 13-year NBA vet was arrested on a fraud charge, however, authorities have yet to release further information.
Marcus, along with his twin brother Marketh starred at the University of Kansas before being taken 14th overall by the Houston Rockets in the 2011 NBA Draft. Although the 35-year old has been well traveled in his NBA career, suiting up for the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, L.A. Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Cleveland Cavaliers, he has largely been a productive player, averaging 12.0 points and 4.4 rebounds across his 832 games of NBA service.
