Morgan State’s senior guard Kameron Hobbs was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola. Howard freshman Blake Harper earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Delaware State graduate guard Martaz Robinson earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.
Kameron Hobbs (G, 5-10, RSr., Stockbridge, Ga.)
led the Bears with 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in the 78-74 victory over Norfolk State.
Blake Harper (G, 6-5, Fr., Washington, D.C.)
averaged 22.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Bison. Against the Eagles of Coppin State, he tallied a game-high 25 points paired with 12 rebounds while shooting a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line. Harper added 19 points and eight rebounds while shooting 10-of-15 from the free throw line against Bowie State.
Martaz Robinson (G, 6-2, Gr., Baltimore, Md.)
averaged a double-double of 12.5 points with 10.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Hornets. Against North Carolina Central, he tallied 14 points with eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Robinson followed with 11 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, one block and five steals in the Hornets win over Virginia-Lynchburg.

- Jonathan Dunn (CSU) totaled 39 points and 15 rebounds through two games for the Eagles adding one assist and one steal.
- Toby Nnadozie (CSU) collected 35 points and 14 rebounds with 11 assists, nine steals and one block in a 1-1 week for the Eagles.
- Kaseem Watson (DSU) recorded 39 points with 15 rebounds, three assists and one steal in a 1-1 week for the Hornets.
- John Clemmons (DSU) tallied nine points and three rebounds in the Delaware State victory over Virginia-Lynchburg.
- Cameron Shockley-Okeke (HU) averaged 23.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals for the Bison through two games.
- Daniel Akitoby (MSU) registered 15 points and six rebounds with three assists and four steals in the 78-74 victory over Norfolk State.
- Keishon Porter (NCCU) scored 18 points while pulling down nine rebounds with three assists and one steal in the win over Delaware State.
- Davion Everett (SCSU) led the Bulldogs with 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in the win over Maryland Eastern Shore.
- Michael Teal (SCSU) tallied 11 points with two rebounds, two assists and three steals in the win over Maryland Eastern Shore.
