The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its softball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.
Millay Lambert (Lane) was named Player of the Week, while Juliana Tabian (Edward Waters) earned Pitcher of the Week honors.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Millay Lambert, Lane, Outfielder | Junior | Florence, AL
Lambert hit .714 on the week with five RBI, two runs scored, and two doubles. The junior is batting .481 for the season, good for third best in the conference and her .586 on base percentage ranks first in the SIAC.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Juliana Tabian, Edward Waters, Pitcher | Freshman | Delano, California
Tabian recorded 11 strikeouts in five innings of work and allowed just three hits and zero earned runs in EWU’s 19-0 home win over Voorhees College.
