It appears that the Philadelphia Sixers will not be retaining the services of veteran wing Corey Brewer for the rest of the season.
The team had signed Brewer to a 10-day contract on January 15 and then to a second deal on January 25. Brewer had seemed to play well, adding a veteran toughness and another still capable defender to the team.
I his seven games with the club, Brewer averaged 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 20 minutes per contest.
Brewer will now become a free agent and can sign with any team of his ( and their) choosing.
