Hooksett, New Hampshire is the stage for this latest edition Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers. A shoplifter in the town of under 15,000 is accused of pulling a knife on a Kohl’s employee.
Zachary Labrecque decided that the rules of exchanging currency for goods did not apply to him and helped himself to a pair of sneakers in the store. According to police, a store employee tried to stop him from stealing the shoes. At that point he pulled a knife on the employee. The worker wisely disengaged. He was later pulled over by police, and officers said he was in possession of both a stolen sneakers and a pocket knife.
For his actions, Labrecque was arrested and charged with criminal threatening.
