Our latest episode of leather and rubber inspired madness takes us to Cleveland, Ohio where a man’s attempt to sell two pairs of Yeezys went horribly wrong.
A Parma, Ohio man traveled to Cleveland to meet someone with which he arranged to sell two pairs of Adidas Yeezy sneakers through text messaging. The agreed on price was $800, thought the shoes are valued at $450 each.
The gentleman from Parma and his cousin met the buyers near an apartment complex. According to the police report, one of the buyers claimed he’d forgotten his wallet and then subsequently showed a handgun and said “How about I take both?”
The seller put the Yeezys back in his car and attempted to leave, but man with gun walked up to the car and shot him in the leg. His accomplice removed the sneakers and they both escaped.
The 19-year-old victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released the same day.
