Police in Queens, New York are on the hunt for over a dozen suspects for their part in a brawl and sneaker theft.
The attack occurred at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and 160 Street at approximately 2:15 pm on October 22.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy was surrounded by a group of ruffians who proceeded to punch and kick him. During the course of the vicious attack, the victim was stabbed multiple times and his sneakers were stolen.
“It is a horrible crime, and young kids doing that, it should not be acceptable in any community, doesn’t matter what,” community advocate Harpeet Singh said to CBS New York. “We need to condemn any act of violence, regardless of the matter which shape or color it happens. Doesn’t matter to who it happens. A crime is a crime.”

After their dirty deed was done, the 13 alleged attackers, who were all dressed in black and several of whom wore face masks, all fled the scene.
The victim, a student at Hillcrest High School, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
The ill-gotten sneakers were valued at $340.
