Philadelphia, PA is the stage for this edition of Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers. In the City of Brotherly Love, police are looking for two males who assaulted another man and stole his sneakers.
According to investigators, just before 9 p.m. on Monday, April 29, the victim was walking down the 700 block of Bucknell Street in Fairmount, when the two suspects approached him from behind.
Police said one of the males put the victim in a chokehold while the other punched him in the face. The two males then took a box that contained the victim’s brand new Adidas sneakers that he had just bought.
