Our latest incident of sneaker-related lunacy takes place in Stockton, California. According to the Stockton Police Department a woman and her wife met with two alleged buyers at a 7-Eleven parking lot Monday night to sell a pair of shoes. Police said the arrangements for the sale were made through social media.
The two women were met by two boys, aged 16 and 18 to purchase the shoes. Ironically, the location was chosen by the women due to proximity, as it was across the street from the Stockton Police Department.
At the meeting, the “buyers” snatched the shoes and ran off. One of the women gave chase but was shot in the stomach. She was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
At this time, there have been no arrest made.
