For the second time in two weeks, Tennessee State guard was named the Ohio Valley Conference player of the Week.  The senior helped lead TSU to a 3-0 week, averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and a jaw-dropping 5.0 steals.  Against UNC Asheville, Nkrumah dropped 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and a school-record 9 steals. Nkrumah’s buzzer beater lifts Tennessee State to fourth straight win

Once again, it took late-game heroics, but Tennessee State was able to pull out a 72-70 win over Little Rock. Aaron Nkrumah’s three-pointer with 0.6 was the decisive basket that propelled the Tigers to victory.  Little Rock scored first on Isaiah Lewis’ fastbreak layup, giving the Trojans an early 2-0 lead.
