It was recently reported that the Bosnian national team was having financial issues that could prevent it from participation in EuroBasket 2022. The Bosnian basketball federation had been able to raise some of the funds but still a shortfall remained. Despite the looming issues, the squad made the trip to Tartu, Estonia, splitting a pair of friendly matches with the host nation. Jusuf Nurkic put in 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in spearheading Bosnia’s 74-68 won over Belgium. Dzanan Musa and team captain Miralem Halilovic chipped in with 14 points apiece for the victorious Bosnians. Retin Obasohan scored 20 in a losing effort.
