From Adam Wells of B/R: The Brooklyn Nets could get Kevin Durant back for Sunday’s game against the Phoenix Suns. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, citing a source, reported Sunday morning that Durant “is planning to return to the lineup.” Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium first reported Saturday that Durant is officially listed as probable after missing the past three games with a thigh contusion. Recent and now former Brooklyn Nets forward LaMarcus Aldridge announced Thursday morning that he is retiring from the NBA due to an irregular heartbeat. Aldridge made the shocking announcement via social media, saying “For 15 years, I’ve put basketball first, and now, it’s time to put my health and family first.” The 7x All-Star was signed by the Nets in late March after reaching a buyout agreement with the San Antonio Spurs. LaMarcus Aldridge signs with Brooklyn Nets

The NBA wealth get even wealthier. Seven-time All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge , who was recently bought out by the San Antonio Spurs, will reportedly sign a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Aldridge had posted numbers 13.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in the 45 appearances he made for the Spurs this season. The Nets may not yet still not be done bolstering their roster, as Wojnarowski adds they have a remaining roster spot they can fill in the buyout market.

As the Brooklyn Nets preparee to embark on a three-game road trip, Kevin Durant will not be the only star the team will be missing; guard Kyrie Irving will also be absent due to a famiy matter. Irving will miss the team’s games against the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday; the Utah Jazz on Wednesday and the Detroit Pistons Friday.
