Wednesday the NBA announced that the league issued San Antonio Spurs guard DeJonte Murray a $20,000 fine for throwing the game ball off a referee. The incident occurred during the Spurs and Grizzlies game on February 28. The incident occurred with about two-and-a-hlaf minutes to go in the game after a call, which Murray didn’t like , he half-chucked the ball in direction of one official lower leg, which it made contact with.
