Coach Bobby Rome, II, who has been at the helm for three seasons, will not return next season as head football coach at FMU. Florida Memorial’s Wilbon III named Sun Conference OPOTW

Florida Memorial running back Walter Wilbon III was named Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  Against Edward Waters in the Big Cat Classic, Wilbon carried the ball 21 times for 170 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Lions’ 31-21 win.  Both his yardage and touchdown tallies are career highs for the senior out of Tampa, Florida.
