With the tie, the Bison remain unblemished (1-0-1) while Hampton moved to 0-1-1 on the young season. Howard outshot the Lady Pirates, 14-3, led by forwards Melea Earley (La Mirada, Calif.) and Gabrielle Garcia-Terrell (Centreville, Va.) each attempting four shots in the stalemate.
