The Santo Domingo, DR native earned the 2023 SWAC Newcomer of the Year honor and received All-SWAC Second team recognition. She played 30 matches, in which she started in 27 of them. Amparo-Smith led the team with 244 kills, including a season-high 34 kills against Florida A&M. Defensively, she tallied 160 digs and 33 total blocks.…
