As we unfortunately and inevitably march toward the end of the legendary hoops career of one Mr. Kobe Bryant, Nike is honoring this all-time great with a global tribute. Nike Announces “Black Mamba” Pack honoring Kobe Bryant

As we unfortunately close in on the end of the career of one Kobe Bryant, Nike is releasing a special pack commemorating and honoring the legend. The pack consists of 13 shoes ( 11 from his signature line and two that are closely associated with Kobe, the Zoom Huarache 2k4 and the Hyperdunk). The shoes in the collection start white and fade to black, a metaphor for Kobe’s career, which comes to a close on April 13. Nike officially unveils the Kobe 11

Nike unveiled official images of the Kobe 11 today.  The latest model  features an evolved,stronger version of Flyknit, which is inline with Kobe Bryant’s comments that, “For the KOBE 11, we worked to perfect Flyknit for basketball,” The sneaker features a design that Nike Innovation Director Eric Avar, who has partnered with with Bryant to pioneer many innovations through the Kobe line  that changed the paradigm of conventional thought of footwear, said: “The KOBE 11 design represents the whole being greater than the sum of the parts” The introductory colorway,…

Kobe X Elite “Commander”

This latest colorway of the Kobe X Elite is inspired by the colors of the Honolulu high school of one Barack Hussein Obama( you may have heard of him, he’s kind of a big deal).
