According to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel and other sources, Butler is missing the game due to personal reasons. On the season, which is proving to be an expectation exceeding one, Butler is averaging 20.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists.

This will be the fourth missed game for Butler this season. He missed the first game of the season and two others when he had his first child. So far this season Butler is averaging 18.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game.
