Klay Thompson out against Celtics with knee soreness

Defending NBA champ Golden State Warriors star two guard Klay Thompson will miss the team’s Tuesday night game against the Boston Celtics with right knee soreness, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN.  This is the second consecutive contest Thompson has missed with this same issue. Despite some up-and down play offensively, Thompson is averaging 22.0 points , 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists on 47% from the floor. Thompson is an integral piece to the Warriors’ drive to three-peat.

Chicago Bullls small forward Otto Porter will be out for the Chicago Bulls game with the Atlanta Hawks, for the ever-popular “load management”. Since being acquired by the Bulls, in the eight games he has played, he’s averaging 19.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 34.8 minutes per game, all improved numbers from his time with the Washington Wizards, where he posted numbers of 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 29.0 minutes per contest.

Pau Gasol to sign with Milwaukee Bucks

Pau Gasol will not have to wonder where he will continue his NBA career. As news just broke of he and the San Antonio Spurs agreeing on a buyout, it appears that his next stop will be in Milwaukee as a member of the Bucks. Johnson reports that recently acquired forward Otto Porter will be out with what the team is terming a “lower leg strain”, while Dunn will miss tonight’s contest due to suffering from a migraine headache.
