“Canary Yellow” Off-White x Air Jordan 1 is not coming in 2020

In news that will be a blow to hypebeasts and fans of Off-White alike, it appears the “Canary Yellow” Off-White x Air Jordan 1 does not appear to be coming to retail anytime soon. The deconstructed Air Jordan 1 was seen at Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at Chicago’s Museum Contemporary Art. However, according to @soledebrief, these will be remain in the sample stage for the foreseeable future. Updates will be provided as information avails itself.

The Air Jordan 5 is the latest Air Jordan silhouette to be sacrificed at the alter of unjustified hype. Recently new images of this defiled version of MJ’s fifth signature shoe have recently been leaked. This Air Jordan 5 is scheduled to release All-Star Weekend ( February 14-16, 2020) at nike.com and select retail venues. The sticker price is set at $225 USD. First Look : Off-White x Air Jordan 5

The Air Jordan 5 is the latest Jordan to get the off-white treatment and an image of this shoe has surfaced. It sports a deconstructed looking dark grey synthetic upper with black eyelets, a reflective tongue,“23” on the lower lateral ankle and “SHOELACES” on the laces. A black midsole sits underneath this upper with an outsole that has translucent portions that may be pre-yellowed ( I certainly hope not). No release details are currently available, however updates on this sneaker will be provided as information avails itself.

The partnership between Virgil Abloh and Nike will continue later this fall with the release of three Dunk Lows- university gold/midnight navy/white, red/wolf grey, and a university red/university red. Virgil Abloh and Nike have joined forces again, this time for a triumverate of Nike Dunk Low colorways that are due to release later this fall. The Off-White and Nike roster of shoes get a new member with this upcoming Air Force 1. It sports a university blue leather upper. The silver swooshes that adorn the lateral and medial sides have a crackled look. There is text on the medial side similar to that present on the off white Air Jordan 1. This “Desert Ore” colorway will be the latest addition to the Off White x Nike Air Max 90 collection. The sneaker features a desert ore upper with hyper crimson branding on the lateral and medial sides, with the medial side swoosh sporting Off-White’s signature text. A leaked Instagram photo with an accompanying style and color code hints at another Air Jordan I in the future from Off-White designer Virgil Abloh, this time in a white colorway. User @pinoe77 posted on his Instagram account on November 20, 2017 about a coming Nike x Off-White collaboration stating on the post, “Air Jordan 1 Part 2”. It also list a style and color code, AQ0818-100, a color, white/white, and a price $190. The post does not specify a release date, merely stating the shoe will be “dropping in 2018.”…
