In news that will be a blow to hypebeasts and fans of Off-White alike, it appears the “Canary Yellow” Off-White x Air Jordan 1 does not appear to be coming to retail anytime soon. The deconstructed Air Jordan 1 was seen at Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at Chicago’s Museum Contemporary Art. First Look : Off-White x Air Jordan 5

The Air Jordan 5 is the latest Jordan to get the off-white treatment and an image of this shoe has surfaced. It sports a deconstructed looking dark grey synthetic upper with black eyelets, a reflective tongue,“23” on the lower lateral ankle and “SHOELACES” on the laces. A black midsole sits underneath this upper with an outsole that has translucent portions that may be pre-yellowed ( I certainly hope not). A leaked Instagram photo with an accompanying style and color code hints at another Air Jordan I in the future from Off-White designer Virgil Abloh, this time in a white colorway. User @pinoe77 posted on his Instagram account on November 20, 2017 about a coming Nike x Off-White collaboration stating on the post, “Air Jordan 1 Part 2”.
