Eddie George to interview for Chicago Bears head coach opening

According to reporting from Mike Organ of The Tennessean, Tennessee State head coach Eddie George will interview with the Chicago Bears for their head coach vacancy.  Coaching in Chicago would not be unfamiliar territory for the NFL great. In 2023 Coach George was a transitory member of the Bears coaching staff as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.  George has helmed the Tennessee State program for four seasons. Tennessee State’s Mike Mitchell to enter NFL Draft

Tennessee State running back Mike Mitchell declared for the NFL draft. The Broheadsville, PA native announced his decision Wednesday afternoon. After playing at Brooklyn’s ASA College in 2018, Mitchell walked on the football team In 2019. He was redshirted that year, but fate was unkind to him as the 2020 season was lost due to a season-ending knee injury.
